Having mastered the Crimsonian and Canterburian ways, in this album Carpet leave the past behind and set out to cuddle, carve and explore their very own sound, oscillating like a pendulum between lush, fluid, voluptuous rock and aerial, jazzy bends, but with no sign of self-indulgence. The result is a great prog record, intelligent and entrancing at the same time.
